Warranty Policy

At OptiOut, we stand behind the quality of our products. We offer a 365-day warranty from the delivery date, covering clear defects in materials and workmanship. 

What Is Covered: 

This warranty applies to manufacturing defects in frames and non-prescription components, including: 

• Faulty hinges, screws, or frame joints
• Frame breakage under normal use
• Insert defects present upon delivery
• Non-prescription lens defects present upon delivery (e.g., coating defects, delamination)

If a covered defect is confirmed, we will issue a one-time replacement at no cost to you. 

What Is Not Covered: 

This warranty does not cover: 

• Prescription lenses - including scratches, coating wear, or damage of any kind
• Damage caused by personal reasons, including accidental drops, impacts, or crushing
• Scratches caused by improper cleaning or handling
• Damage from extreme heat or chemicals
• Normal wear and tear
• Loss or theft

How to Claim: 

To submit a warranty claim, please contact us at info@optiout.com with:

• Your order number
• A clear photo or video showing the defect
• A brief description of the issue 

Our team will review your claim and respond within 3 business days. If approved, we will arrange a one-time replacement.

Important Notes:

• Warranty coverage is determined by the delivery date.
• Only one replacement will be issued per order under this warranty.
• This warranty is void if the product has been modified, repaired by a third party, or used in a way inconsistent with its intended purpose.
• Prescription lenses are excluded because prescription lenses are custom-made to each customer's unique prescription. Once manufactured, they cannot be resold or reused - making them fundamentally different from stock frames or non-prescription lenses. For this reason, they are not covered under our standard warranty. This is consistent with industry practice - many major eyewear brands also exclude prescription lenses from warranty coverage.
